Mailing Specs
General Overview of Mailing Specs:
(We request that you fax a sample with dimensions clearly marked or email a pdf with the correct dimensions before you complete your project to confirm you’ll meet Post Office requirements)

Post Cards: (postcard rate)
Minimum 3.5” x 5” x .007" thick
Maximum 4.25” x 6” x .016" thick

Letters: (including oversized postcards and self-mailers)

REMEMBER: Post cards and letters must also be rectangular in shape and must be longer than they are in height. Divide the length of the piece by the height of the piece to determine the aspect ratio. The aspect ratio MUST be between 1.3 and 2.5.

Flats: (any dimension that exceeds any one of the letter maximums could be a flat)
Minimum usually 6” x 6” x .009" thick
Maximum usually 12” x 15” x .75" thick

Addressing Space: Your mailing piece should have a clear zone void of printing, varnish, laminate or aqueous coating for the printing of the address and barcode. Address printing zone should be at least 4” length x 12” height.

Overages: Prior to printing, Holley’s Printing needs to know the total quantity to prepare for mailing (by submitting the final mail list) and the quantity to fold or process for handouts, if applicable. We need to be advised as to how you want to receive your “Overs”. If you don't give us any instructions, they will be discarded after they are processed for mailing.
